Bobby Mack, Founding Owner & Lead Stylist
First, thank you for visiting Bobby Mack Hair + Co! I would love to share a little more about myself with you. I was born and raised in Philadelphia and currently live in Center City with my two dogs, Molly & Poppy. I started in the hair industry in 2007 when I attended Jean Madeline Aveda Institute following in my grandmother's footsteps to become a hairstylist.
After my education, I went on to complete a three-year apprentice in a renowned luxury salon on the Mainline. Ready to launch my career, I worked at a small boutique hair salon for five years before deciding to open my own studio. Eleven years ago I fulfilled a lifelong dream and opened Bobby Mack + Co Hair Studio which, I am grateful to say, has since become one of Philadelphia’s top premier hair destinations.
Mackenzi, Owner & Lead Stylist
Mackenzi here! From starting my career as an esthetician in 2015 to now 11 years later transitioning into an owner here at Bobby Mack, it has been an incredible ride. Coming from a close-knit family, I have always felt so at home here and now I can truly call it my own.
When I’m not behind the chair, I spend my time down the shore and find inspiration in my beachy, sun-kissed, endless summer. Living in the city, I can’t start my day without a walk on the river and love to end it with a glass of wine from Pub & Kitchen!

Macy, Senior Stylist
Hey there! I’m Macy, and I’m so happy you’re here. After growing up near Philly, I made the move here in 2025 with my two cats, Skye and Shea, and I’ve loved every minute of it. I’ve been styling hair for almost ten years now—ever since graduating from Bucks County Technical High School in 2017. A few years into my career is when i started the apprenticeship under Bobby to really hone my skills.
My favorite thing to do? Creating effortless, lived-in color and helping you embrace your natural texture, especially when it comes to curly hair! I love teaching my clients the best ways to care for their hair at home, too.
Outside of the salon, I’m usually at hot Pilates, trying out a new restaurant with my girlfriends, curled up with a good book, or filming some fun content for my Instagram. I can’t wait to meet you and get you in my chair!
Terry, Stylist
Hi there! I’m Tehraney, also known as Terry. I’ve been a hairstylist for 24 years, beginning at the age of 18 and learning from four other stylists in my family. As a Delaware native, I started my career in Rehoboth Beach, spending eight years at Bad Hair Day? Salon & Spa.
Early on, I knew I was destined for more than small-town life, which led me to Washington, D.C., where I spent 14 years working behind the chair before launching my own successful interior design firm. During that time, I expanded my creative skills in areas like multimedia canvas art, bespoke wall coverings, and personal styling.
Eventually, fate brought me to Philadelphia, where I returned to my roots as a stylist. My career has brought me many exciting opportunities, including features on television and in magazines, as well as the chance to work with some truly amazing—and even well-known—clients.
Outside the salon, you can catch me performing as my alter ego, teaching classes on wig styling, and sharing my creativity on social media. I love to travel and draw inspiration from new places, people, and experiences. I’m looking forward to learning more about the people that sit in my chair and sharing stories from my dynamic life as an artist.
Yalda, Apprentice
Hello everyone, my name is Yalda! Hair and beauty have always been a big part of my life since I grew up around my mother’s hair salons. I found my own passion for hair and started my education by assisting my mother when I was 15 years old.
In 2019, I moved to the United States with my husband and our two children to start a new chapter. Working in a hair salon in the U.S. had always been my dream, so I proudly earned my cosmetology license here in Pennsylvania, as well as in New Jersey where I live, to continue growing my career. In September 2025, I began my apprenticeship at Bobby Mack Hair Studio to advance my education while working alongside my favorite hairstylist and a truly phenomenal person.
I speak two languages: Persian as my first language and English as my second. I can’t wait to be behind the chair soon and give my very best to help you look and feel beautifully confident!
Tina, Chief Financial Officer
With over 25 years of working in accounting and business management, I was so ecstatic to be able to join my son’s growing business in 2019. Having owned small businesses throughout my life, sharing my organizational, money-management, and leadership skills with the team has been so amazing.
Each day I get to be a part of a phenomenal team that makes guests feel and look great which is not only exciting but rewarding. On my time off I love to spend time with my family and fiance. You can find us on our boat cruising the Chesapeake or having a glass of wine and watching the sunset!
Trey, Director of Studio Operations
Hi there, I’m Trey! After working in the customer service industry for four years, I was excited to join the Bobby Mack team. Being detail-oriented, I’ve excelled in the industry by communicating with clients quickly yet efficiently. My position as Studio Coordinator at Bobby Mack & Co has allowed me to get to know so many amazing clients, and it’s also allowed me to further nurture the critical relationship between each client and their stylist. On top of that, now I have great hair!
Outside of work, I’m a big movie lover, I obsess over my cat, I love trying new foods and drinks, and I’m always looking for exciting theater or art to experience. I’m looking forward to seeing you in the studio soon!
